Since starting his career in 1983, Kevin has been cultivating his passion and creativity in the art of beauty through Aveda. His newest passion is dedicating his energy to training and educating our salon professionals, giving them the skills and opportunity to be the best in-salon stylists anywhere.

As a successful salon owner for over 20 years, Tiffany is dedicated to lead new and experienced salon professionals to reach their highest career potential.

Cassie holds a B.A. in Speech communication from Colorado State University and has 8+ years of progressive management experience. She is committed to creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and a fun, team-oriented work environment for staff.Beyond the walls of the salon, Cassie is a certified personal fitness trainer and group fitness instructor. She is dedicated to promoting personal and community wellness.

As administrative manager, Jen handles everything from maintaining the salon’s inventory and booking system to managing payroll and accounting. Jen has been with us since 2005.

Cat has been a part of the salon industry in one facet or another since 1986. After discovering Aveda as a new hairstylist in 1987, she was hooked on the product and the company’s mission and values. Cat took several hair cutting and make-up classes from owners Kevin and Tiffany Krauklis in the 80s and 90s and later joined PureTalent Salons at the Aveda Academy Denver in 2003 as Education Coordinator. After a three-year sabbatical, Cat is back as our Social Media Warrior, Education Coordinator and Front Line Team Lead. In her free time, Cat loves to spend time with her teenage son, quilt and teach crochet classes at a local craft store.

I began cutting hair at age 12. I discovered a great passion and wanted to be great in this industry. In perusing my goals I encountered many challenges and adverse situations, but through my skills I was able to keep myself out of trouble and that made me want success even more. Barbering was always my first passion, but I have come to love hair color and styling just as much. My craving for education keeps me current with the newest styles and prepared for any changes my guest wants. I love working with curly hair- I love to blow it out, smooth it out as well as create frizz-free curls. I started out in the PureTalent Program in 2006 and am now a Men’s Cutting coach- teaching my own cutting classes. I am now in training to become an Aveda Purefessional. I love my life. Go Broncos!

Tiffany Dawn came to the PureTalent Salons at the Aveda Academy Denver after she decided to leave the Fine Arts in her former career as a soloist with the Colorado Ballet. She has been a Master Stylist here since 2001, and in her tenure with the company, she has established a strong client base- reflective of her talent and years of experience. Tiffany Dawn is a perfectionist in everything she does which is carried forward from former life as a ballerina. She has an excellent eye for style and tailors her clients’ needs to perfect the cut and color that always keeps them coming back year after year. Her attention to detail in everything she does is the defining line that sets her apart from the rest! Once you experience a service from Tiffany you will understand why she is one of the most sought-after Master Stylist at the PureTalent Salons at the Aveda Academy Denver.

Pure Master Stylist Beau has been with PureTalent Salons at the Aveda Academy Denver since 1999. Beau is a Colorado Native who grew up and went to cosmetology school on the Western Slop. He has been a hair stylist for over 30 years and has been teaching mens cutting techniques to our PureTalent staff since 2005. Beau has mastered the art of taming curly hair and is a hair color guru. When he’s not making his clients look fantastic you can find him reading fashion magazines and watching Indy films.

Haley began her training with Aveda in 2002. Her passion for education and hair color has led her to become a hair color coach in the salon, as well as working behind the chair creating versatile cuts and colors for her guests.

I have been a stylist at the PureTalent Salons for over 10 years. I have been an educator for the PureTalent Program since 2005. I love to watch people learn and see the “light bulb” go on for them. My passion is inspiring other stylists to love their job as much as I do. I genuinely love coming to work every day and making my guests feel and look good inside and out. When it comes to hair, I enjoy it all- from small changes to big ones and everything in between.When I’m not teaching or working behind the chair I’m spending time with my family. As a family we love to donate our time to help people who are less fortunate than we are. I also love reading and doing suduko puzzles, I love to bowl and going to the theater to see plays, movies and concerts. I enjoy going to the mountains and to the ocean to feel the sand between my toes.

I was born in Nepal and was inspired by hair and make-up as a child. At the age of 12, I got to do hair and make-up for a wedding for the first time. When I moved to the US in 1992 I decided to get my cosmetology license. After graduating, I wanted to expand my knowledge so I came to the PureTalent Salons at the Aveda Academy Denver to advance my skills and fell in love with the atmosphere here. Now I work as a Pure Master Stylist and make-up artist and every day that I come to work I am so happy and feel so blessed that I am able to interact with such wonderful people and coworkers. I am truly living out my dream and am even able to give back to the community through this job. With the help of Aveda and my coworkers I was able to start a volunteer program to give haircuts to underprivileged children at the Mount Saint Vincent in Denver.

Megan has been working with Aveda since 2005. She has found her passion for customizing her guests’ entire looks from low-maintenance precision haircuts, flattering and consistent men’s haircuts, to hair and face color that will compliment every guest.

Jena Westover has been driven toward a career in makeup from a young age. With two younger sisters on which to practice, Jena was able to capture a unique talent and nurture it into her future. Embarking into the industry in 2005, Jena eventually found her home at the Aveda Academy Denver. While building her career behind the chair as a hairstylist has been rewarding, becoming an Aveda Makeup Purefessional has given Jena the opportunity to embrace her true passion.

Nichelle is a fun, diverse and versatile stylist. She is highly recommended for funky, edgy and technical cuts. Nichelle’s styling skills include amazing blow outs and round brushing. She is technically focused and can create beautiful looks for all ranges of personalities!

Ray has a knack for knowing which hairstyles and colors will work for certain types of hair and face shapes. Her clients always leave happy and beautiful.

Elizabeth wants to make you look and feel your best. Together you will make it happen!

In Betsy’s opinion, true beauty is being comfortable in your own skin. When you sit in her chair be prepared to laugh hysterically and leave feeling like a million bucks!

Josie has been immersed in salon culture almost from birth! Her mother was a hairstylist and owned her own salon so Josie often spent her childhood days helping out and watching her mother work with her clients. She much preferred being in the salon to playing outside. Josie always knew she would become a hairstylist and began cutting her friends’ hair when she was just 15. Josie now loves helping her guests look and feel great. She enjoys customizing the perfect cut and color as well as finding an easy style that her guests can re-create at home. Josie is happily married and loves to spend time with her family. A Colorado Native, she loves outdoor adventures and doing community service through her church. She loves to dance, travel and to learn about different cultures.

As a young girl growing up in St. Louis’ famed humidity, Juliet struggled with her frizzy and hard to manage hair. “I want to make people beautiful, to accentuate people’s best qualities. When you look your best, you feel your best.” Juliet knows what it’s like to deal with frustrating hair and always has time to instruct her guests on how to get the most of their look with endless tips, tricks and short-cuts to exciting styles. Juliet has been at the PureTalent Salons at the Aveda Academy Denver since early 2009 and graduated from the PureTalet Training Program with top honors and Gold Certification. She enjoys giving radiant highlights, ombre color melts, upstyling, highlift blondes, brunettes and reds and beautifully blended layered cuts. She keeps her technical skills current and always has new ideas for you. Juliet enjoys hot springing, documentaries and spending time with her family and friends, yoga, photography, cooking and, of course, Texas Hold ‘Em poker.

An Iowa Native, Kelsey came to the PureTalent Salons at the Aveda Academy Denver in 2010. Cultivating her technical abilities in the PureTalent Program, she’s grown into a highly sought after service provider. Her passion to be behind the chair followed her throughout life- finally taking the plunge in 2007 she attended the Aveda Institute of Des Moines where she fell in love with the company’s mission and focus on education. Kelsey’s unique approach with her guests makes her a versatile stylist. On her days off you can find Kelsey furthering her career in activities such as educating, participating in photo shoots and giving back to the community. Kelsey’s contagious energy will inspire you to believe and become the best you can be.

Sladjana moved to the United States from Serbia in 2003. Originally, she studied cosmetology as a way to learn the English language, but quickly realized that her chosen craft was something she loved and excelled in. Sladjana loves color, texture and volume- hair that moves and changes with her guest and hair that is easily re-created at home. She is very social and sociable- she loves meeting new people and learning about different cultures. Sladjana loves to talk with her family and friends via Skype, as well as meeting them for coffee or shopping. She also loves to go dancing and to spend quality time with her husband. Sladjana’s guests adore her and appreciate her charm and quick wit. We’re impressed with her hair skills (as well as her language skills) and thrilled that she chose this as her profession.

Annji has always had a passion for hair. As a young girl she never tired of styling her doll’s hair. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in marketing she knew she had to pursue her dream of becoming a successful hairdresser. In 2010, Annji graduated from the PureTalent Training Program with top honors receiving the Gold graduation certificate on completion. She believes education is the key to success and she is constantly furthering her education by taking multiple classes every year in order to fine-tune her techniques. Over the years she has provided exceptional artistry through technical cuts and customized color for her guests.Outside of the salon you will find Annji crafting lattes as a part-time barista. She is also active at her church where she has been a member since 2007. Annji enjoys reading, coffee and spending quality time with her friends and family. She is a great listener and hopes to inspire confidence in others while making them look great!

Baylee’s love for hair began at an early age. She was frequently found braiding her classmate’s hair in elementary school and later her friends all wanted her to do their updos for homecoming and prom. It wasn’t until much later Baylee decided to turn her passion into a career. After graduating from the Aveda Institute of Denver in 2008, she relocated to an Aveda salon in Orlando, FL where she continued to develop and refine her technical skills. Returning to Denver three years later she entered the PureTalent Training Program and found her home at the PureTalent Salons at the Aveda Academy Denver. With her precision cuts and customized color, Baylee quickly became a sought-after stylist and graduated with high honors. Her many happy guests are thrilled she was asked to stay on!When Baylee isn’t working you will find her indulging in time with her fiancé and their dogs- a Golden Retriever and a Boxer (names??). Baylee is a big fan of all of the Colorado sports teams and likes to stay current with the latest trends in fashion. Baylee is committed to making you look and feel your best.

Carlos was born and raised in Denver, and has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2002. He loves working with long hair, and the artistry and creativity of hair color is what drives him to be a hairdresser. He enjoys working with all shades of hair as it should complement each individual.

J.J. graduated as valedictorian of her esthiology class from the Aveda Institute of Denver in 2007. Her passion for skin care shines through her relaxing yet beneficial facial and back treatments. J.J. is an expert at shaping brows and all other waxing services. J.J. has also participated in several fashion shows as a make-up artist. She loves to show her guests new make-up tips and tricks!

Lindsey brings a fun-loving attitude (and great music playlists) to the Café Pure experience. She loves connecting with her guests and pulls a mean espresso!

Dagmar has been a part of our salon family since 1992. She has moved from managing payroll, scheduling, the guest relations team and more to working part time as a front desk coordinator. We adore her and can attribute much of the Aveda Academy’s success to Dagmar’s hard work.

Born and raised in Seattle, Ashley developed a passion for art and fashion at a young age. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology she jumped into her education with Aveda. Combing her dedication to environmental consciousness and a love for hair and style, Aveda became the perfect fit. Ashley loves creating new and innovative looks for her guests, while ensuring they receive a relaxing and calm experience. Outside of the salon, Ashley is an avid cook and is always looking for new recipes. She also dedicates herself to learning about new cultures through travel, hoping to earn a new stamp on her passport every year. Ashley always guarantees a smile and to do her very best to make you look and feel great.
